Job Summary:

Through comprehensive research, the Travel Writer will develop compelling travel articles, blogs, destination guides, and social media content to captivate readers and inspire them to explore the world. The ideal candidate possesses excellent writing skills and a passion for travel, combined with a keen eye for detail, extensive knowledge of different travel destinations, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough research on travel destinations, including attractions, activities, local culture, and travel trends.
2. Write engaging and original travel content for articles, blogs, destination guides, and social media platforms.
3. Collaborate with the Content Manager and Marketing team to develop creative content strategies that align with business objectives.
4. Ensure all content is accurate, well-structured, and adheres to the brand's tone of voice and style guidelines.
5. Proofread and edit travel content to ensure high-quality, error-free material.
6. Stay updated on emerging travel trends, industry news, and new destinations to provide up-to-date and relevant content.
7. Work closely with photographers and graphic designers to select and enhance visual content that complements written material.
8. Engage with readers and respond to comments and inquiries on various platforms.
9. Collaborate with the SEO team to optimize content for search engine rankings and increase organic traffic.
10. Monitor and analyze the performance of travel content using analytics tools, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies accordingly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
2. Proven work experience as a Travel Writer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of published articles.
